While we were away at E3 playing the biggest games of the upcoming year (and beyond), Valve announced seven new titles that received the Steam Greenlight.
allows gamers to vote on software they'd like to see added to the
digital distribution platform, and the latest batch of approved games
proves Steam users have pretty good taste. Here's a list of the new
games, along with descriptions from the developers.

I voted for the Forest a while ago, I'm glad that it made the cut.
I voted for The Forest, so it is great to see it get greenlit. Ether One also looks very cool, it seems to have an interesting concept behind it and the art style is excellent. I look forward to picking these two up once they are released.
Voted for DreadOut, Ether One, and The Forest. It's great to see them make it onto Steam!
Ether One is my tutors game.
Valve is so cool for this, didn't know these existed but I'll definitely be looking out for some of them on steam.
Can't wait to play Dreadout so far i've been keeping an eye on it :)... PS. daylight seems similar to this game (which is a good thing) :)
DreadOut looks awesome. I can't wait for it. :D
Cool I love steam
The Forest looks extremely creepy. Love some survival-horror games.
Ether One and The Forest both look very cool, and DreadOut looks like the closest thing to a Fatal Frame game we western gamers are gonna get any time soon.
Well I backed StoneHearth, good to hear its getting through now.
I can´t wait or the forest, reminds me of don´t starve from the description but more realistic looking and in first person.
ether one looks good
