The lights are on
How did we ever live in a world without video game voice actors? Okay, it wasn't really that bad, but it's hard to deny that the likes of Nolan North, Troy Baker, Jennifer Hale, and Ali Hillis don't add something magical to the gaming experience. But what if they used their powers... for evil?
In the video below, Mark Meer uses his dulcet tones to rally the forces of Darren to fight an alien scourge. Alone. Stick around after the credits. Regardless of what you thought of the ending of Mass Effect 3, I can guarantee this one will satisfy. (Also, our fingers are crossed for a sequel with Jennifer Hale as FemShep.)
This is the second Sneaky Zebra video to be featured here. The first was a Borderlands 2 cosplay music video. If you missed it, that's worth your time, too.

Hahahaha. What a voice. Glad to see Meer poking a little fun at himself.
I wish I never saw his picture. It'll be hard to connect his voice with a powerful and good looking male character after this.
"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!"
Mass Effect Series is the only one I know from his work! I thought he did a great job as Commander Shepherd! Suited the character extremely well!
He looks a bit like David Tennant in the article pic.
That was pretty good. Those facial expressions were over the top, but still funny, nonetheless.
Kinda reminds me of Charlie Sheen for some reason...
He looks like David Tennant.
Dat voice! Whatever you say Commander Shepard!
James McCaffrey is still the best. Whoo!
INB4 butthurt basement-dwelling neckbeards QQing about ME3's ending. Which wasn't bad.
Lol, very nice.
Another reason to hate the male shepard. I hated the corny voice and went with femshep. I would have also cracked him in the head with the shovel.
Gah!! For a minute I thought that still shot was Christian Bale. The Darknight voicing for Batman origins??
Anyway I enjoyed playing as male Shepard in ME series. I like being a male protagonist if I am given the choice but I can imagine most like the Femshep because of the difference in character and you can do things with Garrus...
I would follow him, he is commander Shepard after all
That's NOT Cmdr. Shepard. We all know she has red hair, and wouldn't need someone else to do her dirty work.
This guy is awesome.
That was awesome!!! :)
I should go.
