The lights are on
The Witness is not getting a retail release, but seeing this poster makes you wish it was just so it could have a box that looks like this.
The creator of The Witness, Jonathan Blow, posted the poster on the game's official blog page. The poster was created for appearance in this PlayStation 4 commercial that premiered right at the start of E3. You have to look closely for it, but you can see the poster on a wall at around the 0:57 mark.
It's easy to understand why Blow decided to release a high-definition version of the poster online, since it's barely noticeable in the commercial.

I love the poster, Wish i had it on my wall
I've always like the minimalist approach for box art. I would like to see it in box form.
It makes me wish I could play it now.
Looks awesome indeed. More box art designers need to understand the "less is more" approach.
i like it...
That looks great. This might be kind of off topic, but I was just sitting here discussing all the games, systems and news going on right now. I'm overcome with a sense of elation for one of my favorite hobbies.
It just feels like so much good is on the horizon. So many new experiences, new ways to look at established franchises. It feels great, cause I've been in a bit of a rut regarding gaming lately. Now I have The Last Of Us at the moment, and PS4 and Wii U on the horizon.
Both consoles have me excited beyond belief.
Funny how the simpler designs are often more beautiful.
No it doesn't.
Oh god thats lovely..I may need to get a bigger print of that..
I'm actually pretty excited for this game despite not liking Braid that much.
ummmm, not that cool.......
I think the one thing I will miss when the digital era comes is the cases and the great art. Maybe I'll have to start getting posters or printing posters off for every game I get when that happens.
This game is looking promising.
Gonna make my own box!
