The lights are on
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says that his company has three titles from three different teams in production for the blockbuster franchise.
Speaking with Kotaku, Guillemot said, “We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time – two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh.”
Presumably, the three titles Guillemot is referring to are Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and the next two annual installments. It’s possible that he means ACIV, next year’s game, and some sort of mobile spin-off, but that would make it tough for the ACIV team to have two years on whatever the 2015 title ends up being.
surprise surprise. lol
Yeah, I loved II through III but Ubisoft is running it into the ground with all these games. One every two or three years was already enough. It makes me sad to see the death of such a great franchise.
ffs stop already
Wow, three more and I still haven't finished AC III.
AAAAAAAAnd this is why I won't buy the AC series anymore. Annual releases are not a good thing.
I do like AC but damn. Ubisoft should slow down.
Oh man, I am sure I will play IV at some point, but seriously there is no need for 3 additional titles for the series. Give us some time to finish the one we have and get hungry for more!
