The lights are on
Series director Hideo Kojima says that Metal Gear Online is being developed concurrently with Metal Gear Solid V.
Kojima told CVG, “Yes, we plan on creating Metal Gear Online. Multiplayer right now is being created at our LA studio as well as us. We're working closely to create a vast multiplayer for all the fans.”
It’s unclear whether Kojima is referring to a standalone product in the vein of the previous Metal Gear Online, or simply confirming some kind of online component to MGS V.
In any case, Metal Gear Solid V has been generating tons of buzz for what appears to be a powerfully ambitious approach to current- and next-gen gameplay, and the inclusion of online play in any fashion can only serve to push the envelope even farther.
Metal Gear Solid V is confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. No release window has been announced.
I can't shoot properly unless my teats are out.
Question is Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection is coming to GamesStop or is it just available Online?
Sweet! I cannot wait!
There IS a god. And his name is MGO
Sounds like a good Idea.
Alas, I missed out on MGS 4's multi-player [having bought the game late], so I'm fascinated to hear about a next-gen one. Wonder if it'll have you playing all the main characters. . .
I would like it in the game.
Metal Gear Solid series and MGS V does not have multiplayer. I'm not pretty sure MGS 3 online mode is that good, but this game will be a complete online multiplayer.
YES! Although there better not be that annoying registration there was for MGS4.
Hideo Kojima continues to amaze me as he propels his epic game series into the future of gaming while simultaneously implementing what made the Metal Gear series great since day one. ^_^
Wasn't aware that V would be on current gen systems aswell as next. I wonder what the disadvantage of sticking with the PS3 version will be, despite possible graphical downgrade.
