The lights are on
Naughty Bear developer Behaviour Interactive has acquired the rights to create a Warhammer 40,000 MMO, and the company says that Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade is on track for a late 2015 release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
You join one of four initial factions (Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks, or Eldar) as you try and work with your comrades to control the planet. Naturally you'll battle to secure territories and resources in the persistant online war, and Behaviour says that the game will have procedural content to try and make sure you're not doing the same thing over and over again. The gameplay uses a third-person, over-the-shoulder camera and includes melee finishers and vehicles like Predators and Ork Battlewagons.
As 2015 is a ways off, it will be interesting to find out more on Eternal Crusade and see how it develops.

Yet another Grindcore MMO...
I'm intrigued! Hopefully this game will stand more of a chance than the previous Warhammer (non-40k) MMO. I so wanted that game to be great, yet it flopped...
Interesting to see MMO support coming to consoles with the new generation.
Why no First Person view so you can get into the game?
Makes me think of DICE having a field day with a WH4K shooter like they are with Battlefront 3.
LOL next gen...
I would like to drive a predator!! I want to land with a squad of friends in a drop pod. We could drop right into the battle zone with a storm bolter equipped to the pod. I want to play this on xbox one, with my friend.
I'm glad they're introducing more MMOs to consoles. It should be fun on the PS4 now that everyone will have mics. I always wanted to hear what "STUPID NOOB HACKER **** **** **** BARNYARD ANIMALS!" sounded like in real life.
