The lights are on
Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will be available this November and it will cost $499.99.
There will be a single SKU and it will cost €499 and £429 in other territories, and releases in the same month. We were unsure if Microsoft was planning to announce the price of its new console at E3, or if it was planning to withhold the information for a later date.
The Xbox 360 launched for $399.99 back in 2005.

Looks good but... I'm holding out til Sony shows off the PS4 tonight.
I won't be buying one at launch, prolly looking at sometime next year
A $500 door stop LOL
screw that *** for the drm and used game crap there gonna need a MAJOR price drop to convince me
that isn't a huge price increase from when they released the XBOX 360, and if i remember correctly, PS3 was $599.99 when it was released. i am happy with this. this price is very reasonable. especially for a system that will likely last for 10 years
system is dead
Microsoft... a 500 dollar console plus your *** 60 dollar subscription that is always online and can barely have used games can go *** itself. I won't buy from you again and you probably do not care because you are raking in the dough from retarded fan boys. Sony... you have a shot, one shot! Don't screw it up.
Wonder how Playstation is pricing theirs
So wait.. You mean for half of the amount of my rent, I can own a machine that does the same stuff that my cable box and PC does, has to always be online(check in once every 24 hours /same thing) has a little creepy all seeing eye that watches and listens at all times or the system will not work, PLUS a convoluted "lending" system and fees for used games?!!! Where do I sign up for this gem?!
Despite the technical difficulties they were having in LA (not really their fault), I LOVED Microsoft's E3 conference. Can't wait for Titanfall and Halo 5 as well as the other games!
Does anyone know how much the games will be?
ot to sound like a troll but:FAIL. Price is too high, not enough exclusives I would care about so far from MS, and that Kinect/all-ways on issue annoys me to no ends. I am curious to see what a PS4 costs. If it is $400 or less then the war may not go to MS this time. We shall see later though.
soon consoles are gonna be like 2000 dollars lol
