The lights are on
Microsoft announced that the Xbox One will be available this November and it will cost $499.99.
There will be a single SKU and it will cost €499 and £429 in other territories, and releases in the same month. We were unsure if Microsoft was planning to announce the price of its new console at E3, or if it was planning to withhold the information for a later date.
The Xbox 360 launched for $399.99 back in 2005.

While this conference was fine, sonys was banancakes
I have been an XBOX "fanboy" since the original XBOX was released. I love my 360. I love getting achievements and try to finish as many games as I can just so I can get them. I have a Windows phone just for the XBOX integration and achievement availability on the mobile games. I was so excited for the next gen XBOX more than anything! Then... just like that... I was let down completely! What do I care if I can watch tv through my XBOX ONE? Why would I want to take the risk of not being able to play a video game if I lose the internet for a day? The main way I get friends to buy games is to lend them mine and visa-versa, why do they have to make it so complicated now? I was still thinking I would probably get one day one until the news broke that it was going to be $500 and the PS4 would be $100 cheaper. I am totally leaning toward the PS4 now and I can't even believe it! I will most likely get an XBOX ONE once the price comes down in a year or two, but for now, I am just disappointed!
I will say the exclusive games looked good!
