The lights are on
A tiny snippet of video has revealed one of the first games
from the EA/Star Wars partnership.
As many suspected, DICE is taking the reins of the Star
Wars: Battlefront franchise, leveraging the studio's expertise with Battlefield
and transferring it to the Star Wars universe.
At today's EA press conference, DICE showed a brief snippet
of action that appears to be a ground view of a soldier fighting on Hoth, as a
Rebel Snow Speeder crashes into the ground, and an AT-AT foot slams down nearby.
No additional details were provided, but it's exciting to
hear that Battlefront is once again an active project on the way.

I'm glad this has been announced. I wonder if we would have ever gotten Battlefront at all if Lucas Arts was still in charge of Star Wars video games.
I'm glad LA folded. This would never have happened if LA was still in charge of the Star Wars license.
Say what you will about Disney and EA, but they know how to separate you from your money. There will be no shortage of Star Wars games with them in charge of the license, like there was over the last 8-9 years.
I actually gasped when I saw the title, I cannot wait.
Aaaahhhhhh. Finally something I can get excited about today. The other stuff's been varying degrees of "pretty cool", but Battlefront 3 makes me actually happy.
Even happy enough to forget that EA's making it.
Opening bets how many people cried when they saw the trailer?, I bet $100 on everyone. Hope it's multiplatform.
That's the best news of all time! Can`t wait, hope they don't forget their PC-community! Hope they take the time to make it THE BEST Battlefront of all time. May the force be with Battlefront.
So far it was the most exciting 4 second trailer of E3.
