The lights are on
Ubisoft's upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will allow gamers to explore the golden age of pirates through the lens of an Assassin, but an upcoming art book from Titan lets gamers explore the creation of the game itself.
The Art of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release on October 28, which should give hungry fans exactly one day to explore the detailed environments and historical re-imaginings within it's pages before the game actually releases. Titan will also release a special slipcased edition, limited to 500 copies, which includes two exclusive Black Flag concept art prints, signed by the artists.
Oliver Bowden is also writing a novelization of the game, which will tell how Edward Kenway transitioned from privateer to pirate to Ubisoft's newest Assassin. But if you want to read more about Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and pirates right now, check out our interview with The Republic of Pirates author Colin Woodard.

It looks... Assassin's Creedy....

Looking forward to renting this.
Lol. For me... October = Pokemon X/Y month. When that game comes out... *starts drooling* I'm very excited for this game, too! I will love playing AC4 while taking short breaks from PK 3D! ^.^
Assassin's Creed probably has some of the most beautiful art in video-games these days. I wouldn't ever put down money to buy a whole book of it, but I nonetheless appreciate every artistic detail that Ubisoft's guys put into their games. I may still be a defender of going back to Europe and exploring England and Shakespeare, but pirates was an awesome way to go too, if not just for more naval combat.
The Assassin's Creed series never fails to impress, it's just that 3 didn't do as much as previous entries. That said, I'm really looking forward to AC4.
You know, I feel that the series had a satisfactory ending with AC3, so I'm out this round.
Between Halo and Assassin's Creed, I don't know which franchise provides more calcium to my diet...
