The lights are on
Dubstep has been weaponized in Saints Row IV's world. Players can harness the genre's bass-heavy clicks and squawks for the forces of good using the game's Dubstep Gun. Publisher Deep Silver has revealed that it's taking the weapon out of the virtual space via the Saints Row IV: The Super Dangerous Wub Wub Edition.
The $99.99 collector's edition includes a 12" replica of the game (with sound effects), an 8" Johnny Gat Memorial Statue, and a pocket-sized version of the game's Dubstep Doomsday Button. That's in addition to the in-game extras included in the previously announced Commander in Chief edition.
If you haven't been following the game, this seven-minute developer walkthrough video does a great job of getting players up to speed. The Saints are now in the White House, aliens have invaded Earth, and your character now has superpowers. It's a lot to absorb.
Look for the game on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on August 20.

I don't think I'll be getting this version but its still pretty cool anyway.
Looks neat. I'm probably going to wait and get this game when the price goes down, but if I had the money I might consider getting this.
I'd buy it.
toys? what the hell?
No Claptrap = No buy
Wub Wub...LOL!!!! I just love the craziness.
Not TOO far away! Looking forward to more insane over-the-top action sequences and crazy story!
A 12 inch replica of the game?? no thanks, ill buy the game for 60 bucks, but hey it makes sounds tho....sltm
" includes a 12" replica of the game "- what? I think you need to change the wording on this article
Saints Row IV doesn't seem very appealing to me. I played The Third, but I think I'll stop there. When this was first announced, it looked great, but this seems rushed, and the humor seems extremely...forced, not sure how to phrase it.
I don't think Im going to get this, let alone the game itself, but good job Saints Row, you grabbed my attention for the first time since I heard you had giant purple toys as weapons in your game. Plus, Vinyl already has a Bass CANON. And it's bigger than that thing.
I Wonder if the Doomsday Dubstep Gun actually make people dance till they die....
Lol, um, I'll pass on that one haha.
I would buy it...but a 12" game won't fit in my console
Huh... I guess I'm out of the loop. I've never heard of dubstep until hearing about the gun in this game. Probably for the best. Oh well, back to my rock I've been living under.
