The lights are on
As if the residents of post-apocalyptic San Francisco didn’t have enough to worry about, the world of Defiance is now besieged with zombie-like enemies.
Continuing the cross-media connection between Trion Worlds’ Defiance and Syfy’s television series of the same name, actions in the game are said to impact what’s seen on the show. In this case, players must work to find a cure for an unknown plague and send a sample to the town of Defiance before the outbreak there worsens.
When the related episode airs on June 17, Defiance’s town medic, Doc Yewll, will send a distress call to a San Francisco colleague who has, perhaps, created an anti-virus. Hopefully Defiance players have done their job by then.
This free content releases today and includes new emergencies, pursuits, and a mission series that begins on June 10 and ends when the new Defiance episode airs.
Neat, I haven't played this game in awhile. May have to pop it back in.
Oh how original of them to incorporate zombies into this!
If not, are they going to shut the game down? :p
I would get this if my internet didn't completely suck.
The Volge and zombies... this game just keeps on giving. Hopefully that Castian DLC comes out before that so we can cut them down with melee weapons.
looks fun to me
Interesting. I had fun with Defiance when Steam had it up for a free weekend. I might go back and purchase it.
Time to pop back in. Lol, I got distracted because Rift is going free to play and so I was taking advantage of the free weekend before F2P launch.
But shooting zombies? Gets me every time. :p
Zombies...why of course.
It's good that they're doing things like this for the game. It tends to get a little stale after a while, but adding mission content like this helps keep it fresh
