The lights are on
The Tales series of RPGs is one that has earned a loyal following. Each year, fans gather in Japan for the Tales of Festival, celebrating the franchise.
This year, series producer Hideo Baba, whom we've recently interviewed, announced that two titles will be coming back in HD form. Tales of Symphonia (originally on the GameCube) and its follow-up, Dawn of A New World (a Wii title) will be coming to PlayStation 3, with the Linear Motion Battle System (LMBS) intact. The working title for the bundle is Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.
The collection will first be arriving in Japan, but Baba hopes to see the package come to North America and Europe in early 2014. In the notes of the YouTube announcement, Namco Bandai confirms the Western release.
