The lights are on
For those who have gauntlet envy after watching trailers for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag: begrudge fictional characters no more.
A replica of Edward Kenway’s hidden blade gauntlet will be available for preorder with GameStop soon and is set for release in the fall.
Kenway’s gauntlet replica looks like real, aged leather with wrinkles to add to the genuine appearance. However, less expensive materials were used to meet the more wallet-friendly price of $39.99.
The piece is made by McFarlane toys and is likely to be a big hit with the Assassin's Creed cosplay crowd. Please note that the blade is not real, so it will likely not be so popular with the hard to reach assassin demographic.
Of course, if you'd rather put that money toward a digital version of the blade, you can pick up Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii U on October 29, 2013. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also in the works.
I like the simplicity of it.
come on guy's, alright, it's not a real blade (you might be able to replace it with a real one) and it's not made to be a million dollar piece, but it looks good, and it's not that expensive, i imagine it's like ezio's blade they did for brotherhood. stop complaining. myself being a diehard ac fan, i might buy one, just for the heck of it. i don't need a real knife that can kill anyone.
Compared to the first hidden blade, pice is reasonable. Granted they don't come out with a collectors edition of the game (pfft. You know they will) I may get this.
So now for halloween you can have a white hood on, have this on, and look like a pirate, then call yourself the pirate asassin!
