The lights are on
He may not have starred in the best game in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe (it was probably one of the worst), but Shadow is finally getting some attention in statue form. This isn't the first time First 4 Figures' has dipped into the beloved characters of this universe, and it won't be the last.
Shadow comes in two 15.5-inch versions. The "exclusive" model is limited to only 600 pieces worldwide. The flames on his feet flicker back and forth, setting it apart from the standard version. If you purchased the first figure in the "Modern Sonic" line (unsurprisingly it was Modern Sonic), you can authenticate your purchase in order to acquire the same collector number on your exclusive Shadow the Hedgehog.
If you opt for the standard version, you'll have a shot at one of the 1,500 pieces in the run. You can see the full line of First 4 Figures on the company's website. As for what this means for the digital incarnation of Shadow, maybe he'll get another chance as part of the new exclusivity arrangement struck between Sega and Nintendo.

I loved Sonic Adventure 2 and tolerated Sonic Heroes well enough, but I agree Reiner, Shadow sure deserves way better than he got than Shadow the Hedgehog and, uughh, especially in 2006's Sonic the Hedgehog. Statue looks quite fine. I desperately hope that Shadow could end up in a good game if Nintendo ends up taking over Sega whole in this next-generation.
There ever been any reason for Shadow's white chest-hair?. . .
I wish I always had money for these things.... ;_;
Shadow was a really good character in Sonic Adventure 2, it's a shame his character just turned 'edgy'
Sonic adventures 2 was great! But the game that he was the main character in was pretty bad.
For a while I was staring at the statue, wondering why Shadow was posing with his hand on his chest. Then I realized that it was just fuzz. Does this mean that Sonic shaves?
All hail shadow!
Has GI ever considered Shadow the Hedgehog as a Replay? I've always wanted to see it in action...
Shadow was a boss on so many levels. Though "Shadow the Hedgehog" realistically was a bad game, I still have fun to this day running around and shooting stuff in it. I think the thing about it I hate the most is it made Shadow's role in every game after it pointless. His story ended. Makes it kind of sad. But whatever. He was always my favorite. The statue looks pretty awesome.
Only 2,100 of them? Must be pretty expensive...
Shadow the Hedgehog...yeah...that...
Now, if only his games could look this nice.
A new Shadow game would be awesome the flaws to fix from the past entry are to have one solid storyline the multiple branching choose your own adventure style path made for a weak storyline which was especially sad since learning more about the mysteries surrounding Shadow had great potential second NO GUNS SHADOW CAN SHOOT ENERGY PROJECTILES (chaos spear or more powerful chaos lance) FROM HIS HANDS HE DOES NOT NEED A GUN. Also no vehicles he can run as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog some arguments at times have pointed that his rocket shoes make him faster the motorcycle was cool but unnecessary (other than for running over enemies).
The Sonic games haven't had a good story since Sonic Adventure 2.
Shadow the Hedgehog has potential to have a legit franchise of games. The figurine looks good.
Good looking statue.
I just pre-ordered the statue. Awesome.
I'd like another Shadow game, just as long as it doesn't give Shadow a rough time again.
looks pretty cool.
