The lights are on
Microsoft's official Xbox blogger has released a picture of
how Xbox One game boxes will look - using Forza 5 as an example.
The picture is above. It's a slightly sleeker look than the 360
game box. It's interesting that the trademark Xbox green - which is largely
absent from the Xbox One console itself - returns in the boxes.

A critiquing of such an article is expected/natural and only right given the nature of it warrants no other action.
But I will say we should lay off on any type of conclusive opinions and/or critiques based on my belief that this is nothing more than a rough design of what's to come.
Terrible name for the console.
That's a sweet car.
Yep, that's definitely an Xbox game case.
That looks really nice
Hmm. This cover is pretty simple. I actually like it. It looks really nice. I can't wait to hear more about the XBOX One this E3! :)
The cover looks great, but the console on the other hand... I really wish that I could be excited about this console, but it's even more disappointing to me than the wii u was.
Looks decent enough. Seems to be in line with the console design which is pretty basic/simplistic.
It still looks like a big ass DVD case. I prefer the smaller PS3 Blu-ray cases.
Looks just like the PS3 cover, nothing new.
Seems rather bland and generic to me. Not a fan.
the box wont matter after you install the game anyways..
it will collect dust on your shelf. what are you going to do after, show the cover art to all your friends and let them know how cool you are?
Should have made the cases black to match the system. The amount of green here is hideous. And green is my favorite color. It will definitely look ridiculous when a game comes out that uses red as it's main color for the cover art. It'll look like some Xmas game.
It also looks to be a Bluray sized case. Much closer to that than DVD sized. The proportions shown, especially knowing that its an angle shot, point to a shorter, wider case than the current Xbox ones.
