The lights are on
Wii U owners might be catching a break. EA chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen made a presentation at the Stifel Nicolaus Internet, Media, & Communications Conference yesterday, offering new information on the publisher's plans for the Wii U.
Last week, EA stated definitively that it has no games in development for Nintendo's home console. Yesterday, Jorgensen gave a different take, stating, "We are building titles for the Nintendo console, but not anywhere near as many as we are for PS or Xbox."
EA previously stated it was having trouble getting Frostbite running on the Wii U. We also know that FIFA and Madden will be skipping that platform this fall. Without Frostbite, the underpinning of EA studios' next generation development, it's unlikely we'll see marquee titles on the Wii U.

EA is the least bit sneaky..
LMAO LMAO It hurts to laugh,..LMAO.Didn't a developer last week state that the WiiU was a crap system?Wasn't his advice to Nintendo to just make games intead of consoles? LMAO,I'm not a fanboy of either system but its times like this that I like to think that justice still exists. With the lackluster Xbox One announcement,EA had to rethink their financial approach.I'm sure they were betting on the One being well received, but things didn't go as planned.
"The Nintendo console", they're probably talking about the 3DS and only said it to shut people up
I am 99% positive it has nothing to do with the Xbox reveal and everything to do with the loudmouth at EA tweeting how the WiiU is a crap console in order to save the relationship between EA and Nintendo
Yeah, and I bet when Nintendo rolls out it's premium line-up and it gets a solid lead on other next gen consoles, they'll be talking about porting all their games.
Someone really needs to knock them off their high-horse.
is this a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing or is EA just trolling gamers now?
Sounds like someone at Nintendo whipped out the checkbook and payed for some "exclusive" EA games. Get ready for another cel shaded Madden.
This is great news. I'm in for the games, and the more potential for great games the better. Hopefully EA has had a chance to figure out the system, and can deliver some quality titles.
It seems like EA just know what Nintendo is showing at E3 2013 and realized that Wii U is going to be the hottest console this year....
Must some star wars game coming to Wii U
Pr move course
