The lights are on
What's a next-gen console
war if not a chest-puffing match? Here's a quick look at the tech specs of the newly
announced Xbox One from Microsoft and Sony's PlayStation 4 as we currently know
Keep in mind that there
is a lot of stuff we don't know yet about either system, and that specs are
just one facet of the story.

reveal of the Xbox One, take a look at our Hub story.

It's all Greek to me.
As of right now, PS4 is what I'm getting. M$ better blow my mind on E3 accompanied by a major f*** up on Sony's part for me to change my mind.
i keep seeing people say how close the specs are THEY ARE NOT CLOSE AT ALL! ddr3 is like stock ram and x1 will only be using 5gb of the 8gb for gaming ps4 is using gddr5 which is 4x better than ddr3. games will look better and play better on ps4 and it will be a big difference.
I don't know a single thing about this whole spec thing, but I'm gonna guess higher numbers mean it will be faster, stronger, or better. Either way, it's gonna be PS4 for me. Sony loyalist, but I wish Microsoft the best.
Ok Oscar explain it to me like I'm a five year old.
Xbox 360 was far better than PS3 as it was easier for game devlepors to put out for xbox and the easier coding made it look bettter though PS3 had slieghtly better hardware. PS4 now changed that to make it easir. BuT the Xbox Live service is hands down what makes the Xbox superior. More people, more servers, get in games quickly and easier to use.
As far as consoles go I will be going with the PS4 at launch. To be honest I'm tired of the nickle & dime tactics Microsoft has been doing with the Xbox for awhile now. Now with all of these new media centric features that Xbox One is implementing it's made my decision even easier.
Microsoft still gets my money either way because I have gaming PC's which require their operating system.
On a kind of different subject: I can't wait to see what Steam has in-store with their 'Steam Box' project. I'd like to see Steam come out with some sort of different operating system for PC to focus on gaming.
Who wants the new Xbox. Lol
They both sound good but sorry Xbox One, PS4 all the way.
I'm way more impressed with the PS4 then the Xbox one
for me the Xbox one is just and new pc.
Isn't the big difference really the Cloud? And microsofts pooled recourses? I think it will more than make up for a 3 dollar used game fee. Go to GameStop and you'll get a much harder figurative shaft.
AUX is the input for the new Playstation Eye. I dont know why this is a mystery to everyone.
