Sony's Mysterious Panopticon Becomes Freedom Wars For Vita

Last week, Sony teased a mysterious game it called Panopticon with an impressive trailer. This week, the Japanese website for the game has renamed it Freedom Wars, and confirmed it for Vita.

You can check out the original announcement and trailer here. Sony released a new trailer, but it seems to be the same content, except with an updated title and a PlayStation Vita logo at the beginning.

Based on the trailer, the game seems to be a sweeping epic of Final Fantasy proportions, with science-fiction elements remiscient of the Justin Timberlake movie, In Time. The official site is offering lots of reveals on assorted dates, so this is a game we will definitely keep our eyes on.
