The lights are on
The new Xbox One controller looks familiar, yet different.
The most notable change is that Microsoft is finally going with a standard plus-style d-pad. The analog sticks now have ridged edges. The face buttons are still colored, but only on the letters themselves. The triggers now include something called "dynamic impulse," which is a locally focused trigger rumble.
Microsoft claims that the new controller features over 40 design innovations. We'll share more of the details once they're announced.

Me likes this new controller. The new joysticks I don't think will be as nice, but that new D-pad and the face buttons, THANK GOD!
Xbox One... One huge disappointment.
At least they didn't screw the controller up.
I was fine with the way the Xbox controller was before, and don't really care about any of these "improvements" besides the ridged thumbstick.
WANT TO PUT THIS IN MY PANTS
Over 40? Damn.
still using raised up face buttons get with the times ps and ouya use flat sexy buttons!
I'm very disappointed that there aren't any new inputs. Two more buttons underneath for your unused fingers would have been a good move, or even a touch pad. Next Gen games are going to be more advanced so we need an advanced controller. PC gamers have enjoyed multiple inputs for ever. It seems this controller redesign needs to be redesigned. I can't be the only one that thinks this way. Please sound off and let me know what you think. And when I say advanced, I don't mean just some fun new trigger motors. MICROSOFT, you're leaving ur gamers behind. Get with the program.
