The lights are on
If you love playing Call of Duty's DLC right when it comes out then you'll want to pre-order Microsoft's new system. All DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be timed exclusives for Xbox One.
Similar to the deal Microsoft had with Activision for the Xbox 360, all upcoming DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be timed exclusives for the Xbox One, though we expect the game and DLC will also come to PS4. We don't know how long these exclusive windows will be, but we'll keep you posted for more details.
Check out our preview of the game here.

Woo DlC..... Great Don't Care; I want IP Games
'Exclusive' and 'DLC'... two words that should never be said together.
well thats nice.
We haven't heard of that before!....Oh wait...
I expected this. Anyway I know I won't be getting Ghost when it comes out.
While I don't care about CoD or, for the most part, competitive multiplayer, this is beginning to send a worrisome trend wit DLC. I'm all about content post-release that helps expand upon the game, and timed exclusives are one thing (my backlog is long anyway), but it feels like eventually DLC may become console specific and screw gamers over in the worst way. The core product may stay the same, but you'll need the same product on two different systems to achieve the full experience from the developer.
Unless it's cosmetic DLC. You know what, keep the exclusive stuff as cosmetic and we'll be good.
Hooray now i can be ripped of by the way of DLC faster
Ghosts really just looks like an updated version of the current CoD games. They're adding customization and environmental events, things that others games have already had for years. There was nothing innovative about the CoD showing, besides for the fact that it was graphically better.
Incredibly misleading article title without the word "timed".
