The lights are on
The debate about whether games are art may be ongoing, but few would argue that games can't inspire art in other mediums. One illustrator has paired his keen eye and sharp skill with his love of games.
Marinko Milosevski is an illustrator and designer living in Detroit, Michigan. He's recently finished a series of three posters that advertise fictional locations seen in the Pokémon series.
Milosevski has also created movie posters for some of gaming's most beloved franchises, including The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Metal Gear Solid. You can see an example of Milosevski's work above, and much more on his personal website. I've got the wall space to hang some of these, but I would have a terrible time choosing between the multitude of amazing designs he's created.

That's some cool art!
Nice. I like this artists style.
Why can't I have this level of awesome? :P Curse you awesomeness Gods! You haven't blessed me with your awesomeness!
I want one that says "haloooo boooys, welcoms to fuchsia cityyyy"
And saved. Very beautiful done artwork.
I like it, very 1940s.
I think fan/concept art is often so much more evocative, creative, and all-out awesome than what's actually put into a game.
That Twilight Princess poster looks so incredible it feels like a crime to not get it...especially since Twilight Princess was the game that let me get into LoZ.
Art is something that is created by imagination, the end. Bunch of f' weenies.
Nice, I like his other video game art also.
Haha, that's pretty neat!
It's pretty cool. I like the Metroid ones too.
Marinko Milosevski is amazing. His series of movie style posters for the Metal Gear Solid series inspired me to buy the HD collection. They are that good. Cerulean City is the best in this current series.
The one for ocarina of time tugged at my nostalgia strings. Time to play it for the umpteenth time...
That's awesome. Shadow of the colossus was my favorite
Wow. That looks good!
