Illustrator Creates Advertisements For Fictional Pokémon Locales

by Mike Futter on May 20, 2013 at 02:43 PM

The debate about whether games are art may be ongoing, but few would argue that games can't inspire art in other mediums. One illustrator has paired his keen eye and sharp skill with his love of games.

Marinko Milosevski is an illustrator and designer living in Detroit, Michigan. He's recently finished a series of three posters that advertise fictional locations seen in the Pokémon series.

Milosevski has also created movie posters for some of gaming's most beloved franchises, including The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Metal Gear Solid. You can see an example of Milosevski's work above, and much more on his personal website. I've got the wall space to hang some of these, but I would have a terrible time choosing between the multitude of amazing designs he's created.
