The lights are on
Among the Sleep, the Kickstarter funded horror title that puts players in the footies of a toddler exploring its darkened house, ended its campaign yesterday surpassing its goal.
Developer Krillbite requested $200,000 to build its innovative horror game when it began its Kickstarter campaign in April. When the campaign ended yesterday, it had surpassed its goal with $248,358 pledged towards the project.
We recently spent some hands-on time with the game, and came away impressed. You can check out the full preview by heading here.

Such a cool concept, unfortunately for me i don't play on PC. If only it came to consoles!
I can't wait for this game to be out. I'll most likely buy it right when it comes out, or just wait for the Steam sale.
I'm glad this game got its funding. They deserve it. Among the Sleep looks like it's going to be a great game, with a novel idea.
I probably won't be able to play it, but even so, I'm still happy for Krillbyte.
They must have had some major last minute backers. I checked it when there was 4 days remaining and they still needed $20,000 just to get funded. I'm glad to see that it was funded and I'll likely pick this up. I'm really intrigued by the possibilities of this game.
It's great that games with new concepts are getting funding. It really shows that the industry does want new experiences.
Wow, that is impressive.
I am very happy that this game has been successfully funded. It looks to be an interesting and innovative concept and as a fan of horror games I am excited to see how it turns out.
Now this is a horror game I'd be interested in getting. A horror game starring a 2-year old? That's brilliant! It makes so much sense. Why hasn't anyone ever thought of that before? I'm sure it's going to only be for PC, but I'd definetely consider it if it was for consoles.
I'm so glad this game is doing great! It looks really scary.
Love my job, since I've been bringing in $5600… I sit at home, music playing while I work in front of my new iMac that I got now that I'm making it online.(Click Home information)
It's nice to see that (along with Outlast, Slender, and to a lesser extent SCP) Amnesia-likes seem to be dominating the next wave of horror games. Hopefully this is a good omen for putting the "survival" back in the name of the genre.
**BRAAAHHHH**! I completely forgot about this game being made, let alone it being a Kickstarter and I missed out on backing it! I sent them a message seeing if there was a way to after date to back it or something, but this game looks fantastic, right up there with Lone Survivor and Amnesia!
Sweet! Looking forward to playing this game! Love me some suspense horror.
The footage I've seen looks pretty darn good for a $50,000 game. That must speak volumes about the designers' talent.
Yay! I'm glad that this got funded. I'm looking forward to playing this.
