The lights are on
The first ZombiU title might not have lived up to everyone's expectations, but for an at-the-time new system in the Wii U, you have to appreciate that developer Ubisoft Montpellier was at least trying. Hopefully some of the groundwork and lessons learned from the first game can carry over to what fans hope will be a sequel to the dual-screen survival horror title. Ubisoft Montpellier creative director Jean-Philippe Caro says that work has begun on a prototype for ZombiU 2.
Caro recently tweeted in response to a fan's question: "The team is working hard
on a prototype. It´s too soon to tell you more."
While the prospect of another ZombiU game will certainly hearten fans, Caro later to tweeted caution, explaining that prototypes are a natural part of the design process and don't always lead to a finished game. "... our job is to work on
prototypes that will become or not video games. :)," he said.

I'd love to have a ZombiU2!
I didn't know this game had any fans. Beating zombies with a cricket bat after I ran out of ammo repeatedly got really old really fast.
I enjoyed the concept. The game was fun, but they have a lot of bugs to work out. Here's hoping for a much better sequel!!
I'm thinking a release for the Xbox PS isn't likely.
I'm one of those that absolutely loved ZombiU. While I can see some of the faults, I certainly thought the overall feeling of terror and the thought that one wrong move can mean your doom even against one zombie made up for it. You never felt safe. A lot of people felt the same, as it developed quite the cult following. You really just have to approach it differently from any other zombie/fps/survival game, and while it wasn't everyone's cup of tea, I definitely think it warrants a sequel. Here's hoping Ubisoft can iron out some of the rough patches.
OH NO, NOT ANOTHER ONE.
Hopefully it can fix the game's major flaws.
add freaking checkpoints this freaking time...smh dying and having to walk to get back to a previous area was daunting
ZomniU is one of the best shooters available this generation. I hold it in high regard right next to Bioshock, Metro 2033, etc. It's a phenomenal game, truly. I'm glad so many reviewers praised it, because a select few didn't care for it and I was afraid the rest of the industry would follow suit. However, as luck would have it, a heck of a lot more loved it than didn't.
Which is just as it should be, since it's such a great game.
People said that the first one was decent to good to bad, if they fix the stuff people are asking for then it should be good.
zombie u sucked
I just started playing ZombiU and made it about an hour and half into the game, died, then started up as chick with Zombies constantly attacking the safe house.....After about 15 consecutive deaths from this "assault" I gave up.
I really hope the next one doesn't have perma-death. Not a fan of that, no sir. At least not the way Ubisoft did it.
I think people judged it too harshly.
well that was quick!:)
what, really? and i doubt they will improve much on the original. wasn't there an interview in game informer a handful of months back where one of the main people involved in making the game said they stood behind the game 100% as-is?
