Weekend Warrior 05/10/13

by Ben Reeves on May 10, 2013 at 02:00 PM

It's been out for almost two weeks, but many of us are still throwing cyber hearts around to lure neon dinosaurs into killing hordes of Omega Force robots in Blood Dragon. What's your weekend look like?

Mike Futter: I am going to be playing “Attend Kill Screen’s Two5Six Conference.” If there’s time, I’ll also be taking my squad of XCOM Game Informer troops back into battle. No one has died yet. Yet.

Tim Turi: Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is just sitting there staring at me. I like its gameplay and open world, but the unwieldy menus and clumsy story are holding me back from actively diving in. I enjoy it when I convince myself to turn it on, but I never find myself desiring it. In the meantime, I’ve been thinking about finally playing through classics I missed like Onimusha or Eternal Darkness. Otherwise, I have Crash Bandicoot downloaded on my PSP, so maybe I’ll just play that.

Jeff Marchiafava: I spent most of the week playing a top-secret game for review, so this weekend I plan to unwind and play something fun. I still haven’t gotten back to BattleBlock Theater; maybe it’s time I get back to beating up cats and laughing at poo jokes. In other words, a typical weekend for Dan.

Kyle Hilliard: I am still slowly creeping my way through Blood Dragon, which I am enjoying, but feeling no rush to blast through to the end. I’ve also been playing Full House Poker in an attempt to teach myself the game. Otherwise, it’s an average weekend, with a little extra time spent outside now that it has finally started to warm up.
