The lights are on
It's been almost a decade since the release of Half-Life 2, but the Valve masterpiece is still fresh in the minds of gamers. With the upcoming Oculus Rift's head-tracking ability, its possible implementations in next-generation first-person titles are promising. Gamers don't forget a classic, though, and Half-Life 2 will also support the device.
Valve programmer Joe Ludwig confirmed the support on the Oculus Rift forums, confirming that the update will be arriving in "a few weeks."

Wonder if it'll work on halflife 3
well that's something

Wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up, and smell the ashes...
Oh god, remember the scene you teleport in front of the Icthyosaur and it almost eats you? Imagine that in virtual reality.
OKAY. I want one now.
That's all well and god but how about a Half-Life 3..?
Obligatory conspiracy theory remark: Could this be the stepping stone to Half-Life 3 tech?. . .
