The lights are on
The first hints of Disney's plans for its part of the interactive Star Wars universe could be coming soon. The company has registered a number of website domains that might be video game related.
Per the company's agreement with EA, Disney retains control of publishing Star Wars titles in the mobile and social spaces. If these are games and not properties intended for other media, they would not be "core titles," as that category is under EA's leadership.
The list includes some interesting possibilities (Order 67 and Wolf Pack), some ambiguous names (Star Wars Rebels), and a couple of truly frightening titles (Gungan Frontier and Wookiee Hunters).
EA has already stated that we won't have any new Star Wars games from them until after the close of fiscal year 2014 (March 31, 2014), but those looking for their fix of blasters, Force powers, and lightsabers might have a new hope. We've reached out to LucasFilm, which is listed as the registrant, for comment.

Gungan frontier? Does that mean I can kill a countelss amount of Jar Jar Binks' ?
You're right, "Gungan Frontier" sounds horrible. And I'm more apprehensive about "Wolf Pack," since it has the corny "Adventures" tacked on. Too bad we have to wait so long.
Star Wars Rebel better be Republic Commando 2!!
''Execute order 67.''
And why did you get my hopes up with a picture of republic commandos?
Unfortunately, order 67 is to secure a large cheesy nachos & soda for Palpatine...
I really hope there's going to be a spiritual succession of Republic Commando. That series certainly deserves another chance!
That would be dope if they make another star wars: republic commando. That is my favorite star wars game of all time.
"[...] but those looking for their fix of blasters, Force powers, and lightsabers might have a new hope."
I saw what you did there!
One thing people need to remember is that Disney and EA are certain to make Star Wars games for kids. Its going to happen, and thats probably what Gungan Frontier is all about (and its likely browser/mobile).
The real question is what kind of mainstream, non-child targeted Star Wars games are we going to see. As long as we get games like KotoR 3, Battlefront 3, and some other more mature Star Wars games aimed at older gamers... they can make all the crappy kids titles they want IMO.
Of these names, "Order 67" intrigues me the most.
Gungan frontier...only a truly evil company would release a game like that...
Oh shoot, "Gungan frontier" is a title?! Seriously! Well, here's hoping that it's just a cheap mobile game that doesn't waste EA's time. Order 67, on the other hand, sends chills down my spine with that story elements that could mean. An interquel game between Episodes III and IV? An imperial commando style Jedi-hunting experience? So many possibilities.
if there is anything i hate more than Disney monopolizing, its a game about Gungans...
Wookiee hunters? Sounds cool.
