Stereoscopic 3D Sonic The Hedgehog For 3DS Revealed For Japan

by Kyle Hilliard on May 07, 2013 at 05:21 PM

A detailed listing for an updated Sonic the Hedgehog with stereoscopic 3D capabilities has appeared on Sega's Japanese website.

Running the site through Google Translate reveals a number of interesting details. The game will be available in Japan on May 15 for 600 yen (around $6 U.S.), can be played in 3D, will allow players to save at any time, play with either the circle or d-pad, and play the game in a display mode that makes it look like you are playing the game on a curved tube television.

Sega has not said if the game is coming to North America yet, but apparently this Japanese version of the game will allow you to play the English version of the game, which is slightly different. Hopefully it will make its way stateside soon.
