Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Pre-Orders To Come With Art Book
In the absence of a proper, numbered sequel in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, gamers have been left with re-makes and portable side stories. And still, an HD compilation of the series progenitor, its first spin-off, the Re:Chain of Memories, and the Nintendo DS' 358/2 Days is an appealing package.
Square Enix has decided to sweeten Pooh's honey pot just a bit more. In addition to the reasonable entry price of $39.99 and the inclusion of trophy support, the publisher is adding a collectible art book to the package. It will feature a hardcover and samples from three entries in the franchise: Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories, and 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix arrives on September 10 for the PlayStation 3.

Set for release on September 10 exclusively for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, customers who pre-order the game will receive a limited edition art book that gives them access to a behind-the-scenes-look at the KINGDOMS HEARTS franchise. The 24-page, hardcover art book will treat fans to an array of visuals such as character renders, promotional art and artwork of the different Disney worlds from KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories, and KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days.
Fully remastered in HD, KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX is a compilation of the critically acclaimed KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, previously exclusive to the Japanese market, and KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories. In addition, this collection will feature enhanced gameplay mechanics, HD cinematic story videos from KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days, and PlayStation®3 system trophies. Players can now relive the origins of the celebrated franchise with Sora, Riku and the colorful cast of Disney characters, including Mickey, Donald and Goofy.
