The lights are on
Twitch user PtoPOnline just ended a livestream of Star Wars: Battlefront III gameplay. The live stream has already ended, but you can head here and here to see the archived videos. The Twitch channel, and its corresponding website, ptoponline.com, specializes in the coverage and streaming of pre-release games, betas, and cancelled projects, like Battlefront III.
Free Radical co-founder Steve Ellis, the developer who was working on Star Wars: Battlefront III, said the game was 99% complete before it was cancelled. According to Ellis, it was in the bug-testing phases of development.

wonder when we'll start seeing videos of Star Wars 1313 like this
May the fourth....will forever have this sour taste in my mouth. Until this game is actually released.
I feel sorry for this game. It has been killed and revived only to be killed again too many times.
They are waiting for another fund to kickstart this game. It'll actually happen once people realize they're money can make this multimillion game could happen.

Never heard of PtoPOnline until just now, but I am now a subscriber to their Youtube channel (livestreams always take forever and buffer constantly for me).
Broadcasting competitive gaming? Huge snore. But checking out rare and prototype stuff? THAT'S INTERESTING. These guys sound cool.
Meh i'm over this...
NO I AM NOT PLEASE GOD OH WHY..?!?!!?
like i said totally over it
I still don't see why LucasArt(at that time) would sit on this. Do you know how many people played this game. We had tournaments on this game, as well as fighting games. I still have the original two, and my kids love them, and ask when 3 is coming out all the time.Sad that I don't have an answer for them.
It's odd they aren't releasing this. If Disney did it right, they could use this to hype up Episode 7.
Come on... REALLY? More of this torture... The Star Wars BF games were my childhood wrapped up in a memory-card containing box. Why must they keep releasing more vids of this game? I feel as if this game is in purgatory, for all intensive purposes it is dead, yet it still seems that it can't be laid to rest. Also, how in the hell do people keep getting their hands on this stuff? Who gets this little builds, and how? Surely people are passing this stuff around in secret on the internet but how and where?
Wow... this looks so good...
looks cool, sucks they cancelled it.
This is such a tease. You want to know what will bring Star Wars games back? Battlefront 3, nuff said.
As a psp owner, I have played newer, updated battlefronts, I would love to see an even newer one on the vita :D
