If you haven't already played Drinkbox Studios Metroid-like brawler Guacamelee then here is your chance to win a download code for the game.
Guacamelee does a brilliant job of blending the Metroid formula with traditional Mexican culture and folklore, but don't just take our word for it. Play the game for yourself. We're giving away codes for the game this weekend.
For your chance to win, simply leave a comment below telling us what your favorite aspect of Mexican culture is and why. The contest closes on Monday and we'll DM the lucky winners their codes. Good luck!

Al pastor on double corn tortillas with some tomatillo salsa makes my day. The wrestling is an art form..... to some... me... Old ponchos and sombreros bring back some high school memories about a super hero I made up called The Masked Mexican. He wore white bandito mask and was horribly offensive, he looked good though. I knew this family when I was a kid who would always invite my brother, my father, and myself over to eat homemade tamales and always accused me of being to skinny. Eat more panchito.
My favorite thing about Mexican culture? By far the language. Spanish is just loads of fun to speak and listen to as well. Seriously watching futbol with the announcers and and the cheering fans is an absolute blast.
My favorite aspect of Mexican culture is the emphasis on family fellowship. Coming from a Mexican family myself, my fondest memories are from all of the great family get-togethers we've had. They usually revolved around backyard barbeques with lots of different foods, lots of family and friends and lots of laughs. Everyone was always glad to be there and everyone was always happy to see eachother. This was always a recipe for a great time, since it's really easy for everyone to get caught up in the weekly grind of our 9-5 (and not so 9-5) jobs.
Tacos, burritos and hot sauce. The food is one of the most delicious (and challening) dishes of any culture.
Mi parte favarito de la cultura de Mexico es cinco de Mayo porque di me una escusa para beber cervesa.
Aspects of Mexican culture which I like... Hmm.. Well... If I can get a download code I would like any aspect you would want me to! lol. but besides that... I find their wrestling to be quite enjoyable at times. plus corona's, margaritas, mojito's (Mexican?), tequila. tarantino's dusk til dawn..
My favorite part of Mexican culture is the fact that it inspired the art style of Grim Fandango.
Burritos! Salsa! Sombreros! Everything in Mexican culture is inspiring and spicy hot!
Lucha Libre without a doubt, also the food.
I love the idea of day of the dead, mostly the art that have been adopted around the holiday. It's very festive and unique and up there as one of my favorites overall.
People usually relate Mexico with tacos or masked wrestling, and while those things are great, i really enjoy the celebrations Mexico has: Dia de los Muertos, Cinco de Mayo...there's a certain energy to it that is felt even here in the states.
Mexican art is pretty awesome. Seriously, google it.
Lucha Libre is ridiculously awesome and fun to watch. Possibly the only watchable wrestling!
I love the food and the costumes because they are so unique and very colorful
i actually really love mexican food, and their day of the dead holiday is really neat too.
the food definately.
always so flavorful and beautiful at the same time
Its gotta be slow poke Rodriguez
Other Than giving me an awesome girlfriend, the dozens of somewhat gruesome stories they tell children to steer them away from things.
I love the food, its delicious, but I also like the unique celebrations and holidays.
