The lights are on
Spring finally showed up to Minnesota, but you could have fooled us, because we're still playing inside like there's snow on the ground (actually there still is). This weekend we dig into our backlogs.
Jeff Cork: We’re recovering from our fourth winter-inside-a-winter here in Minnesota, so I’m going to try to enjoy the outdoors if I can. If not, I’m going to dig back into Skyrim. I’m playing as a summoner-type mage, and I’ve probably forgotten all of the controls by now. I expect to see lots of funny ragdoll deaths as I struggle to relearn everything. I’m going to see if I can’t get into Need for Speed: Most Wanted as well. While cars don’t flop around as hilariously in that one, failure is still rewarded.
Tim Turi: I popped in Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen not having played the original game. Despite the game’s complexity and lack of direction, I think I may continue to dive deeper. The combat and huge monsters are enough to keep me engaged. When I emerge on the other side of this weekend I’m sure I’ll know whether I’m in it for the long run or I’ll bring it back to the GI Vault.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I hope to finish off Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS, I've really been enjoying the game so far. It surpasses Super Mario 3D Land as my favorite game for the system. Other than that, I've got a wicked game of Neptune's Pride 2 going for some other editors so I'll continue to check in on our epic RTS space battle. I also plan on playing Playstation All-Stars, I'm embarrassed that it has taken me so long to get around to this one since Smash Bros. is one of my favorite series in gaming. Have a good weekend!
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I’ll be trying to get back into the swing of Tomb Raider, and spend some more time with BattleBlock Theater as well. Basically, I just hope I don’t sit around all weekend playing Super Stickman Golf 2 like I did most of this week. Not that I’m complaining about SSG 2, mind you…
Mike Futter: Believe it or not, I'm still playing Defiance. This weekend, I'm also going to put in a little bit of time with Borderlands. Whether I'll be doubling back to play DLC I missed in Borderlands 1 or finally getting underway in Borderlands 2 is anyone's guess. I've also got a real itch to play XCOM: Enemy Unknown again after writing the first story on The Bureau: XCOM Declassified last night.

I have finals next week, so it's Crunch Time: The Video Game for me. I'll probably try to squeeze in a little Fire Emblem or Jak and Daxter.
Gonna play God of War Ascension and Uncharted Golden Abyss and if I got time sneak some baseball in and Resistance burning Skies, thank you ron you my boy boss lol
I'm going to continue my playthrough of Far Cry 3 on Master difficulty, which I started on Wednesday. So far its been a real challenge, but a ton of fun as well. First game I've actually been eager to play on the highest difficulty in a while. Aside from that I might play some Red Dead Redemption.
this weekend i am working on completing my play through of the fantastic bioshock infinite on hard.i also just bought tomb raider from a friend so i may start that if i finish bioshock.and i may also throw in some god of war ascension mp.
Resident Evil 4, and BioShock Infinite.
I'll be playing Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, it's sparked an interest in various Playstation games, so I may download some old games or revisit some.
Dead Island: Riptide. Other than that, the weather is finally nice enough to do some grilling this weekend, so it'll be burgers on Sunday.
I just finished Resonance of Fate, then I starting playing Resident Evil 3, surviving in Raccoon City, and I had a problem is NEMESIS, a B.O.W. who don't let me escape this city, but I just must survived and figuring out puzzles.
Last weekend I continued my playthrough of Chrono Trigger after a long hiatus, only to get stuck on some Giant Skeleton Boss in the desert. Perhaps I'll try again this weekend, or maybe not. I have multiple school projects to work on, so my free time may be sparse.
Borderlands 2 and also Ratchet and Clank in light of the movie announcement!
Sounds like a good weekend.
When I'm not attending a wedding, I will be watching more Breaking Bad (Season 3) and Twin Peaks (Season 1) on Netflix. On the video games side of things, I'm sure I'll dabble in GTA 3, continue slowly trudging through Dead Space 3 (that game is going slow for me...), sprinkle in a nostalgic return to Skyrim (might start a new character, who knows), and I will mostly be playing Mass Effect 3. Looking back at the Weekend Warriors I've commented on, it shows my progression through the ME trilogy this year (and my complete non-progression in GTA3).
I finished Tomb Raider last weekend, so I'm hopefully going to beat Far Cry 3 now. I'll also probably play more Guacamelee because that game is a lot of fun.
Fallout: New Vegas.
Finishing up Gears of War Judgement and trying out Far Cry 3
Playing Injustice. I love this damn game. I'm also hopping back into Happy Wars.
