The lights are on
Nintendo has released a system update for the Wii U that addresses a number of user complaints. The UI is faster overall, and tweaks like background downloads and file transfers have been added as well.
Here's the complete rundown, according to Nintendo:
The Wii U Virtual Console and Panorama View aren't included in this update, but Nintendo said they would be coming to users shortly after this update.
In addition to the system update, Nintendo has released the beta version of a web-based Miiverse. Now you can swap pictures and tips with your fellow players away from your console. Head here to see for yourself.

I got the update and Im shocked at how fast it is now. Everything seems faster and smoother now. Also VC titles like exitebike, DK jr, ice climbers, and Supermario world World have all appeared in the eshop. If you are having a hard time finding it just click the browse all eshop items button.
Seems like they roll out more system updates than games.
GI is Sony and Microsoft Land. For your information the 360 launch wasn't any better. They were rolling out updates constantly as well. Its nice to see gamers with ignorant goggles on.
So far so good Wii u
they could roll out metroid in a thong and i still wont buy this thing.
