Blizzcon 2013 Tickets On Sale This Week, Preparedness Tips Available Now

by Mike Futter on Apr 22, 2013 at 08:04 AM

Picture this. You and your friends are excited to attend Blizzcon 2013, especially since the event didn't happen last year. You've been furiously working to boost your actions per minute (APM) so you can show off your Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm skills. Finally, tickets are on sale and…you don't get one, because you weren't prepared. Don't be that guy.

There is hope, though. In order to make your purchasing experience go smoothly, Blizzard has offered up some tips for being prepared. If you don't already have a Battle.net account, create one now. If you haven't updated your credit card information, you should do that. You can get the full rundown here.

Blizzcon tickets go on sale in two batches this week, and admission for the benefit dinner (in support of Children's Hospital of Orange County) become available next week. Purchases are online only via this page.

BlizzCon 2013 Ticket Sale #1: Wednesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. PDT
BlizzCon 2013 Ticket Sale #2: Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m. PDT
BlizzCon 2013 Benefit Dinner Ticket Sale: Wednesday, May 1 at 7 p.m. PDT

If you do follow the guidelines and still miss out (or simply don't want to travel to Anaheim, California), you can purchase a virtual ticket. Details on the remote experience are coming soon. Blizzcon will be held November 8 and 9, 2013, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
