The lights are on
The Binding of Isaac, the roguelike from Super Meat Boy's creator Edmund McMillen, has been pretty successful since its release in 2011.
According to an interview with the gaming YouTube channel Northernlion, McMillen said that Isaac has sold two million copies. It makes it easy to understand why he has been hard at work on a remake of the game, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, which is currently planned for PC, PlayStation 3, and Vita. McMillen is also hoping that he can bring Rebirth to Xbox 360 and 3DS, and that it will be ready for release this year.

Isaac is one of the best games I've ever played! I must have logged more than 400 hours of it myself, but unfortunately most of it was via desktop shortcut with Steam closed (to save memory), so the exact time is unknown.
I do have Platinum God unlocked, though, and I unlocked Golden God twice before the expansion came out, so I guess it doesn't really matter. Can't wait for Rebirth! I need more unlocks.
I don't play it much, but when I do it's very enjoyable.
Very deserving. One of the best time-wasters ever.
i enjoy his art style, and as soon as something comes to PSN, i would pick it up for sure.
Bought it a while ago off of a Steam sale, and it is a blast. Glad to be among the 2 million purchases.
Love the style! XD
I got it during the Steam Winter Sale for $2.50. It's a great game.
Good for him!!!
Proud to be one of the 2 million gamers who has purchased this gem of a game. With over 70 hours invested into it, it just never gets old no matter how much I play it.
Hopefully this will release on PSN in time for the summer sales.
It was an awesome game even I couldn't ignore. Glad to see it having success.
Great game, the success is well deserved. I still play it after 100+ hours.
