The lights are on
Far Cry 3's upcoming DLC expansion, Blood Dragon, is coming in May, and Ubisoft has partnered with Corridor Digital to create a short film that will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect.
You'll see severed limbs, neon lights, cyborgs, neon blood, kung-fu, more neon lights, and at least one VHS tape. It's absurd, and it does a fine job of making you wish you could download Blood Dragon right now. We are hopeful that lead writer Lucien Soluban will deliver the same kind of hilarity in the game.
Speaking of which, the DLC expansion will be available on May 1. Head here to check out the trailer if you haven't seen it already.

Dang...that was well done.
Alot of people seem to be taking issue with blood dragon being deemed DLC. DLC is just that though, Downoadable Content, I think the term many of you are confusing it with is "Expansion Pack". This is not an expansion pack but is indeed DLC, which pretty much counts for anything you can Download. I get where you guys are coming from though, just thought I would help clarify so we don't have discussion threads which veer away from the inherant AWESOMENESS of what we just watched.
isn't this the pizza guy from ninja turtles 2 secret of the ooze?
Who's the Kano wannabe?
This is a great way to do DLC.
Those synth drums! Awesome!
Speechless. I am just speechless. After the video was over I caught myself subconsciously trying to shove money into my computer screen. If the video had gone on any longer I may have busted it.
I wasn't at all interested in Far Cry 3, but Blood Dragon looks incredible and this film was awesome.
May 1 is not soon enough!
Blood Dragon now has most of my want.
I'm so glad that AMD added this to their bundle. They're even rewarding customers of their video cards from the last 6 months to get this game for free too. It'll probably only take a day or two to complete, but I'm excited to play this expansion in May!
Oh man, that vid is one fine aged Gouda. Its flowing with classic cheese. Can't wait for this DLC to get online.
Great job with the short.
Kinda pumped for this.
Ok. Some critique: they should've done the special effects with wooden/plaster maquettes (not 3D rendered computer graphics) and clay models.
Other than that, it is pretty awesome. And, honest, I refuse to call it DLC: this seems a much better game than Farcry 3, and seeing as it's a standalone, we might as well call it 'a better game'.
I love corridor digital and FreddieW.
