Twisted Pixel's Dan Teasdale Departs Studio
Today on Twitter, designer Dan Teasdale announced that he was leaving the Comic Jumper and Ms. Splosion Man studio. Most recently, Teasdale has captured the imaginations of gamers with his Super Drake Tracker 2000 EX, which monitors the movements of Harmonix director of communications and brand management John T. Drake across the country.
If this sounds like an April Fools' day joke (as it did to us when we first learned of it), you'll be surprised to learn that there is a Kickstarter campaign for the project. The $550 goal was obliterated early on, and the earnings stand at over $10,000 right now. Teasdale announced the departure on Twitter.
Today's my last day at Twisted Pixel Games. What's next? STAY TUNED! tmblr.co/ZUzwSwiWuHj5

He also posted a statement on his Tumblr, stating of his next career that, "It’s exciting and scary, which is exactly the kind of thing I love burying myself in." We wish Teasdale the best in his life beyond Twisted Pixel (which is running an amazing deal on four of their games right now).
