DC Comics Asking People To Find The Hero In Themselves

by Mike Futter on Apr 12, 2013 at 09:40 AM

With the upcoming release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, and the recent announcement of Batman: Arkham Origins, it's the perfect moment for DC Comics to leverage their popularity for good. In an effort to draw attention and raise funds to alleviate the hunger crisis in Africa, DC and parent Warner Brothers have launched an Indiegogo campaign

The initial goal of $50,000 has already been met, but there are still fantastic perks to be earned in recognition of contributions at different levels. In this first of six weeks, DC is offering a variety of Batman-related incentives, including a copy of Batman: Arkham City signed by Rocksteady Studios founder Sefton Hill and an Injustice Battle Edition signed by NetherRealm's Ed Boon. Up for grabs is also a San Diego ComicCon VIP experience with writer Geoff Johns and artist Gary Frank.

You can check out the fill roster of incentives on the Indiegogo campaign page and view the pitch video below. For more information, visit the official We Can Be Heroes website.
