The lights are on
The MMO scene might be crowded, but there is always room for new titles with attractive art styles and game play friendly to casual and hardcore players alike. Carbine Studios is trying to find that delicate balance in their new sci-fi-meets-mysticism MMO, Wildstar. As mentioned in a preview we published last fall, the content is designed to be easily digested or wolfed down depending on player preference.
If this is your first introduction to the title, check out an episode of Respec Radio with Carbine's Mike Donatelli and Mike Geldard and the recent "What is Wildstar?" video below. If you like what you see, it's not too late to participate in the game's first closed beta test (already underway). In a departure from the standard weekend blitz, this event will last for a number of weeks, giving players a chance to check out the unique "path" system and other choices available on the planet of Nexus.
Head over to the beta sign up page for your chance to conquer the galactic frontier.

I look at the guy in the picture and think TF2 Heavy.
