The lights are on
[Update] Game Informer has received the following statement from Ubisoft, "We are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it quickly. No personal information was compromised. Uplay's PC download service will be unavailable until the problem is fixed, however all other Uplay services remain available."
Hackers are at it again. According to reports, the copies of Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon that are available on torrent sites are the result of a Russian hack of Ubisoft's uPlay service. According to a report on Gameranx, a piece of code was used to trick the uPlay servers into bestowing ownership of the titles without purchase, including those not even available to the public.
Furthermore, the exploits can be used to play the games offline, circumventing DRM. Ubisoft has taken flak from PC gamers over oppressive piracy prevention measures, and the publisher has recently stated a desire to repair relationships with affected gamers. We can't wait to play Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon either, but piracy isn't the way to go. Original footage proving authenticity of the hack has been removed by Ubisoft, but it continues to emerge from other users.
We've reached out to Ubisoft for comment.

Some people just can't wait for Blood Dragon I guess.
Lol why is everyone so surprised at this? It wouldn't matter if it didn't get hacked pre-release because it would have been on release anyways. I'm not condoning ripping games at all, I just don't get the outrage. This literally happens with every game made...
I hate hackers :( They ruin it for everyone
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Leaked Gameplay
Ubisoft sucks for online gaming but still release like they know what they're doing. In my opinion they got what they deserve for making people waste money on their games. If you guys played ghost recon future soldier you know ubisoft doesn't care about the consumer.
