The lights are on
Suda 51 and his team are currently working on Killer is Dead. However, another action-focused title is also in the works at the studio, and it may surprise games with its use of online features.
Speaking to Edge, Suda 51 said that the game's online component is a "very new style of online feature." The studio's pursuit of this experimental online mode is partially due to the company's acquisition by GungHo Entertainment – known for its online games.
This new project is a brand new action-focused IP, and features the work of No More Heroes artist Yusuke Kozaki (whose concept art for the game is pictured above). The title has an ambiguous 2014 release date, but for more info, we'll just have to wait until Suda 51 and Grasshopper get further along in development.

You have to admit, Suda and grasshopper really work hard. They release a game every year. Working hard for their low sales.
No more Heros 3?!
I absolutely loved No More Heroes 1 and 2, so a 3rd game would make me squee
I Hoover in and expect a meticulously revamped art style of No More Heroes. What can Grasshopper do with this engine? save us from No More Heroes! (ok I admit I sorta played both of them...alot.)
Coming from Suda 51, I wouldn't expect anything else than something new in the online realm.
Awesome! I can't wait to see what happens next!
The concept art has a style similar to Odin Sphere
We'll see about this online feature, but the concept art looks cool.
Love the news. Suda 51 and Grasshopper just love to work intensely on new projects. I'm excited to find out more.
I thought it was a collaboration with Vanillaware with that picture... only to be disappointed.
I don't know if I should be excited or scared when Suda 51 mentions a new style of online feature.
The last really original online feature I remember seeing was in Demon's/Dark Souls. Hopefully Suda comes up with something as good. Even his weakest games (Flower Sun & Rain) are interesting and imaginative.
I hope it isn't console exclusive. I really wanna see what this could be.
wonder what it is!
I can't wait to see what new game they release next. They always make something creative and interesting.
