The lights are on
While Dean Hall works on the standalone version of DayZ – the online survival horror Arma 2 mod – there may be more in the works for the title.
Talking to The Escapist, Hall couldn't say anything definitive about a release on a console, but did say that he's met with Sony about the idea. "It appears to be the kind
of game that Sony are interested in," he said. "I think we just have to wait and
see. We've talked and met with Sony, and they're very – you know, they're obviously interested."
In general, Hall says that a console version is "almost certain," assuming the standalone PC version isn't a mess.

This is great news as I really want to play and support this game, but really don't want to get into PC gaming. Here's hoping Sony makes it happen!
I love how the thumbnail that leads to this looks like some sort of Walking Dead spin off.
This would be fantastic. I actually planned on getting the standalone game for PC when it releases, but if it's coming to PS3/PS4 then I'll just wait since I prefer my Sony console anyway.
I'd be game for this on my console 0_o
It would certainly simplify the ridiculous control scheme on PC hah!
I really hope this comes to PS4. It would be absolutely amazing, and I would buy the system for this game alone. Fingers crossed!
