The lights are on
Crytek has released a video showcasing some of the current projects in development that use CryEngine 3 as their engine of choice.
The video features clips from a variety of projects and developers, covering everything from fantasy worlds to realistic battlefields to cityscapes and golf courses. While not all of the examples feature bleeding edge visuals, they're not all triple-A projects. All in all, the video shows off the versatility of the engine that is best known for Crysis 3.
Check out the video below to see some of the CryEngine 3 games currently in development. You can also check out our impressions of Undead Labs' State of Decay, which also uses the engine.
I get so confused between 3 and 4, then I realize this will probably be the first generation that uses the previous engine A LOT.
That first one gave me a Jak and Daxter vibe.
Big red button looks like a next gen version of jak and daxter
Awesome line-up! finally Unreal Technology is getting some proper competition!
