Weekend Warrior 03/29/13

by Louis Garcia on Mar 29, 2013 at 03:30 PM

The recent release of BioShock Infinite has many editors busy this weekend, but some other games are creeping into their weekend plans as well.

Ben Hanson: I'm so glad that I finished BioShock Infinite last night and am now hunting down spoilers on the Internet instead of fearing them. This weekend I'm planning on playing some more Luigi's Mansion and Lego City Undercover, both brilliant and both wildly different from BioShock. Other than that, I think I'm going to Dan's apartment tonight to play some Walking Dead: Survival Instinct and/or Jersey Devil for the PlayStation 1. Don't ask.

Jeff Marchiafava: While everyone else is playing BioShock Infinite this weekend, I’ll be playing more Tomb Raider. Lara Croft’s latest adventure has successfully snapped me out of the gaming slump I’ve been in for the past few weeks – turns out running around an island pillaging ancient tombs and shooting people in the head with arrows is just what the doctor ordered. Actually, I’m pretty sure no doctor has ever ordered that – if one has, they should definitely have their medical license revoked.

Andrew Reiner: My first order of business is to finish up BioShock Infinite. Next up, hours upon hours of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U. I also hope to watch Lincoln, and the first episode of Continuum this weekend.

Louis Garcia: I’m going to be quite busy this weekend with both Game Informer and newspaper work, but I’m going to try my hardest to get a handful of hours in with BioShock Infinite. I’m only three hours in (and those are very slow, look-at-everything hours), but I’m enjoying it. My hunting buddies might lure me away from it for some Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Wii U. I suppose I do have to bag me some Barioth to craft my favorite switch axe.
