The lights are on
The recent release of BioShock Infinite has many editors busy this weekend, but some other games are creeping into their weekend plans as well.
Ben Hanson: I'm so glad that I finished BioShock Infinite last night and am now hunting down spoilers on the Internet instead of fearing them. This weekend I'm planning on playing some more Luigi's Mansion and Lego City Undercover, both brilliant and both wildly different from BioShock. Other than that, I think I'm going to Dan's apartment tonight to play some Walking Dead: Survival Instinct and/or Jersey Devil for the PlayStation 1. Don't ask.
Jeff Marchiafava: While everyone else is playing BioShock Infinite this weekend, I’ll be playing more Tomb Raider. Lara Croft’s latest adventure has successfully snapped me out of the gaming slump I’ve been in for the past few weeks – turns out running around an island pillaging ancient tombs and shooting people in the head with arrows is just what the doctor ordered. Actually, I’m pretty sure no doctor has ever ordered that – if one has, they should definitely have their medical license revoked.
Andrew Reiner: My first order of business is to finish up BioShock Infinite. Next up, hours upon hours of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U. I also hope to watch Lincoln, and the first episode of Continuum this weekend.
Louis Garcia: I’m going to be quite busy this weekend with both Game Informer and newspaper work, but I’m going to try my hardest to get a handful of hours in with BioShock Infinite. I’m only three hours in (and those are very slow, look-at-everything hours), but I’m enjoying it. My hunting buddies might lure me away from it for some Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Wii U. I suppose I do have to bag me some Barioth to craft my favorite switch axe.
Sim City, BF3, Minecraft, and NBA2K13!
Probably going to play some Battlefield 3 (really got excited with the BF4 trailers), some Gears of War 1, 3, or Judgment MP, and Single Player, and maybe some Minecraft
Continuum is pretty good Reiner. Hope you like it.
I am trying to finish up my Mass Effect 2 playthrough, then I'll try and close out Dark Void, a game I never really paid much attention to but is actually pretty fun. I will also make some progress in Dead Space 3, and Grand Theft Auto IV.
Bioshock Infinite for console, and Luigis Mansion Dark Moon for handheld this weekend, both amazing games for very different reasons.
I'll be playing Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Both are great so far.
I'll be playing Bioshock Infinite like everyone else.
If I finish that then I will most likely continue on with the plethora of indie titles that I have on Steam. Hopefully I can start Vessel, Rochard, or Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery.
I got Monster Hunter on the 3DS so yeah..
I am going to go through my second play through of Bioshock infinite on 1999 mode.
I'll beat Bioshock Infinite, and as always play some weekly Halo 4 custom games
Yeah Reiner. I am just getting into MH3U. Its starts slow but im having alot of fun. trying to work out the multiplayer with my friend who was raving about this game.
More Bioshock Infinte. Also on Saturday Doctor Who returns and on sunday both walking dead and game of thrones are on.
Just finished Bioshock Infinite but I still need time to process that emotional roller coaster of an ending so, instead of replaying it, I'm going to replay Saints Row 3 and try to finish Darksiders II. Because stupidly senseless violence is a panacea for all that ails.
Also going to try and fail to make instant coffee, get mad and then drink orange juice out of spite. If I can find cake vodka, this entire weekend might pick up.
Playing BioShock Infinite like Louis, taking my time and taking it all in. So far it's just fantastic.
Finally completed the Low Chaos playthrough of Dishonored, but need a few more achievements.
I'll finally be playing The Walking Dead. I got through the first two episodes, and they've been amazing.
This weekend I will be continuing my trek through the Witcher 2, fiddling with my newly built computer, and watching Game of Thrones season 3 premiere.
