The lights are on
A listing on the ESRB website has appeared for the Jak and Daxter Collection on PlayStation Vita.
All three Jak and Daxter games release in one high-definition package for PlayStation 3 last year, and it was very well executed. I know I certainly wouldn't mind playing those games on portable device.

Cool for Vita owners, but it's about time that the Vita get something new too.
Would love to see the Ratchet & Clank collection on Vita.
YES! YES! No, don't stop! A million times YES! YES!
Now bring over the other HD collections (especially Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Ico/Shadow of the Colossus, Devil May Cry (though doubtful, since Capcom seems to suddenly hate the Vita by NOT BRINGING ANY NEWLY ANNOUNCED GAMES OVER THAT WOULD WORK PERFECTLY FOR THE HANDHELD!), Tomb Raider (though I don't know if underworld would make it), Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia) and I will give you all of the money Sony. All. Of. It.
Also, I'm okay with ports, so long as they are of high-quality games. They will certainly tide me over in between the new IPs.
This is great! I will sell my PS3 version so I can have the Vita one.
Need Jak 4 **BRAAAHHHH**.
This is a pleasant well-timed and convenient surprise, since I started playing Jak II in the Collection today in fact, almost a year after I 100%-completed The Precursor Legacy. If the Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper Collections are ported as well, I'd gladly completely play through them both again. I could also see the Killzone, Resistance, inFamous, and God of War Collections being brought over, too.
I would love seeing the Jak and Daxter games on Vita.
These kind of games are a real joy to play on handhelds. I bought this for the PS3 about 2 months ago and I'm at the end of the first game. I could say with confidence that if this came out on the Vita, I would finish it within the month.
Another great fit for the Vita. Assuming it's true...
I'll definitely pick this up! I was always more of a Jak & Daxter guy than a Rachet & Clank guy.
These are the type of games I want of a portable. Love these old platformers!
It's probably for cross-play support like they did with the God of War Collection and ICO and Shadow of the Colossus collection. If this gets a standalone release, I'll be a bit surprised.
Since I missed these back during the PS2's heyday, I will definitely pick up either the PS3 version or the Vita version if it happens.
