The lights are on
Remember Uncharted 3? It came out in 2011, and was really good. The multiplayer component went free-to-play last month, and Sony is marking its success with a new batch of DLC.
Being dubbed "Oddball DLC" due to its randomness, the content consists of miscellaneous cosmetic parts that you can buy and slap on your avatar. More DLC will be available for purchase in April and June, and Sony has implied that those updates will include items that are more easily grouped together thematically.
Sony also announced that since going free-to-play, the Uncharted 3 multiplayer client has been downloaded over 350,000 times.

Wait . I am confused. How is it ," free to play"?
It was already free, well I guess you needed the $10 code.
What in god's name is Sony doing to this franchise?
What we need is a Uncharted 4 and not that crappy DLC.
I really wish more games would be supported long after their release. Battefield 3 did an excellent job of that.
If this was an EA game, the comments would be full of people complaining about microtransactions, thankfully its a Sony thing, so it's cool!
I really hope this isn't detracting from Naughty Dog's investment in The Last of Us. If it isn't, this is great news.
Lets not get ahead of ourselves, while the single player is great, the multiplayer is dreadful.
Cool? I'd rather have more substantive DLC than cosmetic crap but w/e.
Interesting to keep it alive.
