The lights are on
Last year, Electronic Arts won the Consumerist's award for worst company in America, as voted on by readers of the site. Will the publisher take home the award two years in a row?
EA's "victory" last year had a lot to do with the fervor surrounding the Mass Effect ending. Thankfully, this year the company doesn't have any record of mistreating its customers…oh.
Maybe EA should just stop releasing games right before the voting window opens.

They're on a roll!
here is some thing else why they deserve it.
I frigging hate the Mass Effect, especially after the supposed fix, but I think that it was an overreaction to name EA worst company.
You know what they say: no publicity is bad publicity. EA wins both ways, they stay in the spotlight and rake in millions on the substandard products they put out.
I nominate Apple for being just as greedy and controlling. Also the fact that they eat orphans is not that appelaing.
It's definitely one of the greatest title defense seasons I've ever seen. Kudos, EA for the effort.
Stupid. Worst Company Ever. But Keep the games coming! We all love them! Something doesn't sound quite right about that mentality. Sounds a bit like an addicts relationship with their dealer...
What a ridiculous competition! There are tons of companies out there worse than the ones on this list. What about the natural gas companies ruining the water of the country and the insurance companies that overcharge for their coverage and then refuse to pay your medical bills. The fact this list is mostly retailers and distractions really reflects how little people actually think about the real problems in our society. It is a really poor reflection of our society.
There are so many more worse companies out there than EA. EA just has some terrible business practices, but that really doesn't mean they're the worst company in existence.
Not surprised by this at all, but I personally think there are much worse companies out there than EA.
