The lights are on
Survival rates just got a little bit lower in Left 4 Dead 2 and Resident Evil 6: both games will feature crossovers from each other in their PC versions in the spring.
Valve’s first-person shooter will get enemies from Resident Evil 6; Capcom’s latest iteration in its horror franchise will receive Left 4 Dead 2’s four main characters in PC-exclusive mode Mercenaries No Mercy.
If that isn't enough, Resident Evil 6’s new mode will also feature the Witch and Mini Tank Special Infected characters to smite.
Players of Valve’s game will come face to face with Lepotitsa, Napad, and Ogroman. The characters were created using Steam Workshop tools, and fit seamlessly into the undead world.
“We’re huge Resident Evil fans, so when the opportunity arose to work directly with Capcom to combine L4D2 and RE6, we jumped at it,” says Valve’s Chet Faliszek.
Resident Evil 6’s new content will be free and available starting April 5. Left 4 Dead 2 players will get theirs for free this spring.
I definitively want to see this! But... would also be awesome if they were in the Console Versions too D:
hmmmm this sounds like a lot of fun
i *** myself someone get tp fast lol
I love left 4 dead 2 and think I would love this.
An interesting mash-up/crossover indeed. Well, I do love me some L4D2 on the weekends, so this should be interesting.
Wonder how much longer it will be until Valve finally learns to count to 3 and make L4D3?
ya this might be a really good idea
that is so f*cking awesome, once again I envy you PC gamers
now this is something!
I.... do not think this will help Resident Evil.
And I do not think it will help Left 4 Dead become magically better.
The more mayhem the merrier
Here are some screenshots:
Looks pretty cool to me. The character models look very nice in this engine.
Cool, but, what exactly is a mini tank?
this is a surprise
