The lights are on
An Activision representative confirmed that a teaser website for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a fake.
The website in question is www.unexpectedreveal.com. It has a countdown set to end on March 21.
GameSpot reports that although the site mentions developer Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Neversoft in its source code, the website it registered to someone using a gmail account.
Another rumor surfaced last year about the possible new title, but Infinity Ward denied it.

Again? People really love to make fake Call of Duty sites.
Oh, it's just going to be MW4 anyway.
inb4 it's ANOTHER *** MOVIE.
Awww... a fake website? Awww...
Wait for 3 or 4 days. Then COD whatever number they are up to now will be announced
In other news; a puppy was born, sun is still... sun-ing and other things are happening.
Even so, it's probably gonna happen eventually. Regardless, whatever Call of Duty does next is definitely gonna look a lot like Modern Warfare like it always does.
How many fake COD websites does that make now? At least 2?
How is Sledgehammer Games gonna top Modern Warfare 3! They always manage, though.
I wonder what IW will do with the franchise. There will absolutely be another COD game, though it may or may not be part of the Modern Warfare series. The release of the next generation could provide them with an excellent opportunity to innovate and completely change the landscape of the FPS genre, just like COD 4 did back in 2007.
oh, isn't this the North Koreans????
:)
I probably would've have believed it if I hadn't seen this first. That site looked pretty legit.
I hate annual releases. That is all.
